Our North Star
The ATX Impact Network aims to provide resources and networking support to both established and emerging community leaders whom endeavor to expand their community impact. By removing barriers to success and encouraging a cooperative framework, the next generation of community leaders will be more connected and capable in the ongoing development and revitalization of our community and it’s families.
Our Priorities
Building Up Skills and Talents
Developing and facilitating community-based ownership and social cohesion within and without the community through community focus groups, relationship building, and skills training.
Building Cooperative Infrastructure
Building the community cooperative infrastructure to facilitate and assist in creating Black community empowerment initiatives by connecting Community stakeholders to online and in-person services, education, and capital.
Connecting the Community
Promoting and encouraging a narrative of the Community that acknowledges the deep history, vast resources and diverse talents that exist here. To extol the exceptional potential and bright future of our community. The ATX Impact Platform will provide the launching pad and ongoing networking support necessary to actualize a strong and vibrant community ownership ecology; taking control over our community’s future.
Our Method
Our approach to our strategic priorities are centered around building a cooperative ecosystem that focuses on ownership ecology and cooperative infrastructure development. We believe that by empowering our community to take ownership of their own socio-economic development and invest in infrastructure and pipeline building, we can create a more sustainable and resilient ecosystem for Austinites .
The Creation of Community Currency
The creation of Regional Currency to incentivize commerce on the Blockchain. This aims to provide a new platform for community-owned products and services to be featured and promoted and to encourage greater support for the Austin community.
The development of the ATX Impact Leadership Academy/Fellows Program.
This program aims to promote the contributions of emerging leaders and community stewards through networking events, education, and technical training. It also aims to build the necessary infrastructure to assist in creating strong leadership by connecting professionals to support services, resources training, and capital for community empowerment projects for the ATX community.
The launch of the Cooperative Platform (ATX Impact.net)
The launch of the Cooperative Platform for Community Empowerment (ATX Impact.net) as a centralized digital space for connecting with and supporting local businesses in the Austin region.

Our Story
ATX Impact Community Empowerment Foundation was born out of the 2020 ID3A Jam, which highlighted the unique challenges and economic landscape facing Black professionals and businesses in the Berkshires. This event served as a starting point for generating ideas for community socio-economic development opportunities.
