A hierarchical structure for decomposing the elements of any entity, usually from "broad" to "narrow" in scope. While Breakdown Structure can refer to Cost Breakdown Structure or Organizational Breakdown Structure, in project management, it usually refers to Work Breakdown Structure (CBS)
