Critical Path Method

Also called Critical Path Analysis, CPM is an algorithm for scheduling project activities. CPM involves identifying the most important (or "critical") activities necessary to complete the project (i.e. its "critical path"). Estimating the duration of these activities can make it easier to estimate the project's minimum duration.
